N K R Bricks

N K R Bricks is situated at 5-14-62 on Huliyar Road in Arsikere. We have a decent sized yard where we keep everything organized, or at least as organized as a brickyard can be. Arsikere is a busy place and being on Huliyar Road means there is always a lot of movement around us. We spend most of our time out in the sun, making sure the production is going okay. The bricks are stacked in long rows and we spend hours counting and moving them around. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just rely on the fact that we are right here on the road and people can see the quality of what we are putting out. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule and we have to wait for things to dry out, which can be frustrating for everyone involved. We get a lot of truck drivers stopping in, and we usually have some tea and a quick chat while they wait for their trailers to be filled. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even with all the dirt and the heat from the sun. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There's no secret to it, just keeping the kilns hot and the stacks high until the sun finally goes down.
