We operate Flyash Bricks Pvt. Ltd. out of EWS - 304/3 in the Mk Swamy Compound over in Sankaripuram. It’s tucked away a bit, but once you find the compound, we’re right there. Working with flyash is a bit different than traditional clay, but we’ve found a rhythm that works for us. The yard is usually full of stacks waiting to be moved. We spend our time managing the raw materials and keeping the machines running. It’s not a glamorous job, and our clothes are usually grey by the end of the shift, but it’s what we do. Sankaripuram is a decent place to be based, and the Mk Swamy Compound has a lot of activity going on. We don’t put on any airs about being a big corporation even if we have "Pvt. Ltd." in the name. At the end of the day, it’s just a group of us making bricks and making sure they’re good enough to use. People come to us when they want something a bit different for their walls or buildings. We try to be helpful when folks have questions about how the bricks hold up. There isn't a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, there’s a truck waiting or a batch that needs checking. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure we stay on top of the work. It’s a straightforward business for straightforward people.
