Hotel Suvarna Regency / Resorts

Our place is at Suvarna Arcade on B.M. Road. We go by Hotel Suvarna Regency. It’s a fairly large building for this area. We have a mix of different rooms. Some are a bit better than others, depending on what you’re looking for. We’ve been operating out of P.B. No. 97 for a good number of years. The town is quiet, and we try to keep the hotel the same way. We have a parking area which is handy because a lot of people drive through here on their way to other places. The lobby is a bit dated, with some old chairs and a big desk. The staff is mostly local people who have lived here their whole lives. We don’t have any fancy corporate training. We just talk to people like normal. The rooms have the basics—fans, some have air conditioning, and televisions that work most of the time. We aren't trying to be a luxury resort, despite the name. It’s more of a reliable spot for people to rest. We see a lot of travelers who are heading to the temples or the hills. We don't have a lot of fancy food, but there are spots nearby. It’s just a regular hotel run by regular people. We do our best to keep things running and make sure the rooms are ready when someone shows up. The B.M. Road can get busy, but our building sits back enough to stay okay most of the time.
