Hotel Hassan Ashok

Hotel Hassan Ashok has its spot at P.O Box 121, right on the main road between Bangalore and Mangalore. It is a big highway, so we get a lot of people who are driving long distances and need a place to stop for a bit. The hotel has been here for many years. It is a large property with a lot of trees and open space around it. We are not in the middle of a crowded city, which is nice for a change. I have been part of the staff here for a good while. There is a restaurant and a good number of rooms. The building is a bit older, so it has that classic look to it. We don't have all the latest high-tech gadgets, but we have the basics like beds and bathrooms. Maintenance is a big job here because the place is so large. There is always a garden to tend or a room to touch up. We just keep at it every day. Most of our guests are families on road trips or drivers taking a break. It is a quiet existence out here on the road. We don't do anything flashy to get attention. Staying open and waiting for the next car to pull in is what we do. It is a steady way of living and we are used to the rhythm of the highway.
