I have been working at this spot in H113 Anbunagar for a while now. Tirunelveli gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast all day long. Most people around here know where we are because we’ve been at this address long enough that it’s just part of the neighborhood. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some desks, a few cupboards, and plenty of paperwork that seems to multiply when we aren't looking. Sometimes the tea guy comes by around four and that’s the highlight of the day for most of us. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Usually, it's folks from around town or nearby villages looking for something specific. The floors get a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There is a small gate at the front that squeaks every time someone walks in, which acts like a doorbell. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just us here, doing the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just sit and talk while we wait for a page to load. It feels like a normal workplace where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We just focus on getting through the tasks before the sun goes down and we head home. It is simple and we like it that way. Most days are quiet, but we keep busy enough with the locals who stop by for help.
