You can find us at Prem Bhavan, which is number 268/404Ga in Malviya Nagar, Aishbagh. It is a residential-looking building in Lucknow, which makes it feel a bit more comfortable for the people who come to talk to us. We don't have a big waiting room with fancy magazines. Instead, there are just some chairs and maybe a glass of water if you're thirsty. The atmosphere is generally quiet because we are tucked away from the main road. We spend a lot of time listening to people. It’s not a corporate office where everything is timed down to the minute. If a conversation takes longer, it takes longer. The walls have a few simple pictures on them, nothing too modern. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear them laughing through the windows. It’s a very local kind of place. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything. We just provide a space where people can come and talk about their plans or problems. The light in the afternoons is quite nice in the front room. We keep a ledger of who comes in and out, but it's all very low-key. We are just here in this house in Aishbagh, doing what we can to help out. It doesn't feel like a business, more like a community service that we happened to start years ago. We usually finish up when it starts getting dark and the street lights in Malviya Nagar come on.
