Vinti Masale & Mustard Oil Private Limited

Vinti Masale & Mustard Oil Private Limited is located at 10, G.P. Road in Laksar. We do two main things here: we grind spices and we press mustard oil. The smell of the mustard seeds is very strong, especially when the machines are running in the afternoon. It can make your eyes water if you aren't used to it. Our building on G.P. Road is an old one, but it serves us well. We have a few big machines for the oil and some smaller ones for the masale. It is a family-style business where everyone chips in with whatever needs doing. One day you might be filling bottles and the next you are sewing up spice bags. Laksar is a place where people appreciate good oil, so we stay busy. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, people just know we are here and they come to us. The floors are often a bit slippery from the oil, so we have to be careful. We use simple packaging because we don't see the point in spending too much on plastic and labels. The work is greasy and tiring, but we have a good rhythm going. We start early and usually finish up by the time the sun goes down. It’s just an honest day’s work for us at the mill.
