We are located on Dun Road in Roorkee, specifically near the Rampur Chungi area. It’s one of those spots that’s always got something happening. Being at a chungi means there’s constant traffic, people coming in from the outskirts, and a lot of tea stalls around us. Roorkee - 247667 is a busy town, and we are right in the middle of that flow. Our shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need onto the shelves. Most days, it’s just us behind the counter, dealing with whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s a student from the university, other times it’s someone from the villages nearby. We don’t do a lot of talking unless it’s about what someone needs. The walls are a bit old, and the flooring has seen better days, but it’s a medical shop, not a museum. We’ve been here long enough that the local rickshaw drivers know exactly where to drop people off. When the sun goes down, the lights on Dun Road come on and the area feels even more crowded. We usually stay open until quite late because you never know when someone might need something. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just keep the stock ready and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a practical business for a practical town like Roorkee. We just do our bit and go home.
