Sherton Chicken Corner

Down on Haridwar Road, you will find us near the Jama Masjid. This area of Haridwar is always moving and there is a lot of energy in the air every single day. Sherton Chicken Corner is basically a small spot where we spend most of our time around the grills and the tandoors. It gets really hot in there, especially when the sun is out, but we are used to it by now. We started this because we know how to handle chicken and that is pretty much all we do. There is no big office or corporate team behind us, just a few of us working the counters and the kitchen. You can smell the spices from the street before you even see the sign. It is a humble setup with simple tables and chairs because we think the food is what matters most. Being near the mosque means we see a lot of people passing by for prayers or just walking through the market. We don't have a big menu with a hundred items, we just stick to what we know how to cook well. Sometimes the orders take a little longer if the grill is full, but we try to keep up. It is just a local chicken shop doing its thing in a busy part of town. Our family has lived in this area for a long time and we just wanted to open something that felt real.
