Patel Engineering Limited

This branch of Patel Engineering Limited is a bit different since we are based out of the Ashulok Tourist Complex. We are up on Gangotri Road in Bhatwari, Uttarkashi. It’s quite a scenic place, though the weather can be a bit tricky depending on the season. The HR and administration side of things happens here. It’s not your typical corporate setup because of the location. We share space with the tourist complex, so there’s always people coming and going. The air is definitely fresher than what you’d find in the city offices. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here, making sure the staff are sorted and the paperwork for the local projects is in order. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the mountains, but we manage to get things done eventually. It’s a quiet life up here most of the time. The road outside is the main way to Gangotri, so we see a lot of travelers. Our office is just a few rooms with the essentials. We don’t have much in the way of high-end furniture. It’s more about being where the work is. If you’re heading up the road, you’ll see the complex. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know who we are. The winters can be tough, and we spend a lot of time keeping the heater going while we sort out the payroll and logistics.
