Himgiri Stones

Our little setup is over at 16 Himgiri Vihar, right in the Vishnu Garden area of Kankhal. It’s a quiet enough spot most mornings until the first delivery shows up. We’ve been operating out of here for some time, and the neighbors mostly know us by the sound of the stones being moved. The office is nothing special, just a room where we keep the books and take calls. Kankhal is a busy place, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes with the narrow turns. We deal with all sorts of stone pieces every day. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning the yard, and other days it feels like everyone wants something at once. The rain usually makes things a bit slippery out there, so we have to be careful when we’re loading up the flatbeds. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Mostly people just find us because they live nearby or heard about the yard from someone else. It's a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us out front. We keep a variety of stock depending on what we can get our hands on from the suppliers. It’s hard work, and your hands get rough, but it’s a living. We’re just here doing our thing day in and day out without much fuss.
