Gyaan Tuitions

We started Gyaan Tuitions a few years back right in House No-73, Ganeshpuram. It's an old house in Kankhal, Haridwar, near Satikund, and we just turned the front rooms into a place for kids to study. We didn't have a big plan, honestly, just noticed some neighborhood children were struggling with their schoolwork and thought we could help. Now it's a daily thing. The rooms are basic, just some wooden benches and a couple of whiteboards we bought second-hand. It's not like those big air-conditioned centers you see in the city. Here, we sometimes have to deal with the noise from the street or the power cutting out for an hour. We just keep a few candles or a small battery light ready. It’s a very local operation. Parents usually walk their kids over or drop them on a scooter. We don't have a receptionist, so if you come by, you'll probably just see one of us teaching. We cover the usual school subjects, mostly for the younger kids and some high schoolers. It’s a bit messy sometimes with books piled up on the corner table, but we know where everything is. We aren't trying to be some massive institution; we just want to make sure the kids here in Ganeshpuram get their homework done right. It's simple work but it feels good when a kid finally understands a hard math problem and smiles about it.
