Our office is located at D 74 in Shivalik Nagar, which is right by Bhel Ranipur in Hardwar. It is a bit different than the big city offices people talk about. Artech Infosystem Pvt Ltd has been in this part of Uttarakhand for quite a while. The 249403 area is more industrial and quiet compared to the metros. You can see the hills in the distance on clear days, which is a nice break from looking at computer screens all day. We handle information systems work, mostly just keeping things moving for the clients we have. The building itself is pretty plain. We haven't spent much time decorating or anything like that. We just have our desks and our equipment. It is a practical setup. Most of the staff live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which we all appreciate. The air feels a bit better here than in Delhi, that is for sure. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you will probably just see someone at their desk working. We do not really have a lot of visitors anyway. It is just a steady routine of coming in, doing the work, and heading home. We have become part of the local landscape here in Shivalik Nagar over the years. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a place where we get things done. We like the pace here. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
