Chanauva Bujurg Jai Kisan Farmer Producer Company Limited is run by a group of us here in the village. Our main point of contact is Imrat Kurmi, the son of Babulal Kurmi. We operate out of his place in Parasiya 8200. It is a small setup but it works for what we need to do. We are mostly focused on farming and helping the people around here get their crops to market. Being a farmer is a lot of work and it never really stops. Even when it is raining or the heat is too much, there is always something that needs attention in the fields. We use this address to keep our papers in order and to talk about what we are going to plant next. Imrat knows everyone in the area and his father Babulal has been around for a long time too. We do not have any fancy furniture or computers everywhere. It is just a room where we can sit down and figure out the costs and the sales. Sometimes things go well and other times they do not, but that is just how it is with farming. We are just a local group trying to make things a little better for the families living here in Parasiya. We do not spend money on advertising or anything like that because everyone knows us already. We just do our work and hope for a good season each year.
