Prem Chand Garg & Sons is our family business located on Garh Road in the Khurja Pech area. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. It used to be much quieter, but now Garh Road is always packed with traffic and people moving about. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a place where we keep our goods and talk to our customers. Most of the people who come in are locals who have been buying from us for years. My sons help me out with the daily chores, like unloading the deliveries and keeping the books somewhat in order. We don't use much in the way of high-tech systems; we mostly rely on what we know and how we’ve always done things. It can be a bit chaotic during the busy hours when everyone wants something at once. The Khurja Pech area is known for being a hub of activity, so there is always noise from the street coming into the shop. We just try to keep up with the demand and stay on top of what we have in stock. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet all day. We don't have a marketing team or any big plans. We just want to keep the shop running like it always has. It’s a simple life on Garh Road for our family.
