Merino Industries Ltd

Our place is located in Village Acheja, just near the P.O. Hapur. If you are driving down the main road, you might miss the turnoff if you aren't looking closely. Merino Industries Ltd has a lot of people working here, but it still feels like a local operation because so many of us grew up nearby. The factory floor is loud and there is always something humming in the background. We spend a lot of time moving materials from one side of the building to the other. It gets pretty dusty, so we are constantly cleaning off the machines and the workbenches. We don’t have a fancy corporate headquarters; the office is just a partitioned area near the main entrance where the noise still leaks in. You won’t find any marble floors or expensive art here. We focus more on making sure the shifts run on time and that everyone stays safe while they work. Lunchtime is when it gets the loudest, with everyone heading out to the small stalls nearby or sitting under the trees. We’ve had some tough years with the weather and the power cuts, but the team here is used to making things work with what they have. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we take some pride in seeing the finished products loaded onto the trucks heading out to the highway.
