Laxmi Narayan Chemical Industries

Our factory is in Village Phagota, which is in the Dhaulana Tehsil. We are quite easy to find because we are right near the Laxmi Narayan Mandir. You can hear the bells from the temple while we are working. We deal with chemicals here at Laxmi Narayan Chemical Industries. It’s a rural area, so there’s a lot of open space around the building. We have big drums and tanks sitting in the yard. The work can be a bit messy, and we have to wear our boots and gloves all day. It gets very hot in Dhaulana during the summer months, which makes the work in the shed even tougher. We have a small team of men from Phagota village who help with the heavy lifting and the mixing. Most of our day is spent watching the gauges and moving materials from one tank to another. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner with a lot of files on it. The trucks come down the dirt road to pick up the finished products. Sometimes the road gets muddy when it rains, and the trucks get stuck for a bit. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s quiet out here compared to the city. We finish our work, wash up, and head home as the sun sets over the fields. It's a steady life.
