About Kumara Swamy Fruits – Food & Beverages in Hanamkonda
Our fruit stall is at H. No -3-30, right in the middle of Raithu Bazar in Excise Colony. It’s a lively place to be, especially in the mornings when all the farmers are bringing in their fresh produce. We spend our day sorting through baskets of mangoes, bananas, and whatever else is in season. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The smell of fresh fruit is everywhere, which is nice, but it also means we have to be quick to sell things before they go soft. We don’t have a fancy store with glass windows. It’s an open-air kind of setup where people can see exactly what they are buying. Customers in Excise Colony are picky about their fruit, so we spend a lot of time picking out the best ones for them. Sometimes we have a little chat about the weather or the prices while we weigh things out. It’s not a complicated business. We buy the fruit, we display it, and we sell it. There’s no big marketing plan behind it. We just try to keep the stall clean and the fruit looking good. When the sun goes down, we pack up what’s left and get ready to do it all over again the next day. It’s hard on the feet, but we enjoy being part of the market buzz. We’ve been right here at this spot for years. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the crowd arrives, but that’s the best part.
