Shubha Organic Farming Private Limited

We are based in Gwalior, over at 12 Pritam Vihar Colony in the Thati City Centre area. It’s a decent neighborhood, and being near the City Centre makes it easy for us to get around the city. We handle organic farming, but the administrative part happens right here in the colony house. It’s a typical Gwalior home turned into a workspace. We spend our days coordinating with the farms that are further out from the city. There’s a lot of phone calls and checking on the transport of the vegetables and grains we handle. My sister helps with the accounts because I’m not very good with the computer stuff most of the time. We have a small storage area in the back for the seeds and some of the dried products. The weather in Gwalior is either very hot or quite cold, so we have to be careful with how we store the organic stock so it doesn't spoil. We started this because we wanted to see more natural food in the local markets around here. It’s not a glamorous job, and sometimes we are still working late into the evening trying to get the schedules right for the next day. We don't have a big fancy office with a lobby, just some desks and a lot of work to do. People in the colony know us as the organic folks.
