Sawhney Study Centre

We are located at House No 6 in Ram Kala Nagar, right inside Shankutala Cottage. If you look across the street, you can see the Ramjanki Mandir. It’s a quiet spot usually, except when the bells ring or when the students arrive in groups. The house isn't very large, but it's where we spend most of our day. We have been in Morar for a while now, and Gwalior feels like home to everyone here. The rooms have chairs and some desks that have seen better days, but they do the job. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or open the windows to let a bit of air in. Most days it’s just the sound of pens scratching on paper and someone explaining a difficult chapter. We don’t have any fancy signs or big lights outside. It’s just a house where people come to learn things. People usually find us by looking for the temple first. The gate at Shankutala Cottage can be a bit sticky in the monsoon, so you have to give it a good push. There is a need for a place in this part of Gwalior where kids can just sit and focus. It’s nothing fancy, just a few rooms and a lot of textbooks. We try to keep things organized, but there's always a pile of papers somewhere that needs sorting. That’s just how it goes here.
