Narayandas Kishanlal is our family business located at Hanuman Chauraha in Gwalior. If you know the chauraha, you know how busy it gets with all the vehicles and people crossing. We are right in the thick of it. The shop has been around for a long time, and we try to keep things running just like they always have. We don't have a fancy office or any high-tech gadgets. We use a simple calculator and some ledgers to keep track of things. It’s a very hands-on way to work, and it works for us. We open up six days a week, and usually, someone is here even on the holidays just to check on things. We have a lot of people who just stop by because they were passing through the chauraha and remembered they needed something. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or billboards. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep, but it has character. We like the energy of Gwalior and the way people here are always ready for a chat. It’s not a complicated life. We provide what people need, they pay us, and we see them next time. That is the way it has always been for Narayandas Kishanlal, and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just do our bit.
