Mathamatics By Joshi Sir

The place is over in the Lather Factory Colony area of Morar. Gwalior gets quite dusty this time of year, and the colony is no different. We are mostly focused on numbers here. Joshi Sir spends a lot of time at the board, usually with a piece of chalk or a marker in hand. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside there’s always someone asking about an equation. We have students coming in from all parts of 474006. Some walk, some come on cycles. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, which they usually are because the fans are old. There is no big office or a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find a spot to sit down. The walls have some charts on them, mostly formulas that have been there for years. We don't spend much on decorating because that isn't why people come to see us. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes we drink tea from the stall around the corner while we go over the homework. It’s a lot of work, and the days are long, but this is what we do. The colony is a busy place with people going to work and kids playing, so there is always some noise in the background. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood where everyone knows each other.
