You can find Maa Sharda Furniture House on Tansen Road, inside the Tomar Building. We are pretty much right across the street from Tirupati Motors, which is a good landmark if you are visiting for the first time. Our shop is a busy place and usually smells like fresh saw dust and wood polish. We have all sorts of furniture crammed into the space, so you have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a chair leg or a stack of boards. We are not a high-end showroom with bright lights and salesmen in suits. We are just a few guys who know how to work with wood. Most of our days are spent measuring, cutting, and nailing things together. Our hands are usually rough and our clothes are always covered in a bit of dust. It is hard work and the shop can get quite hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in this spot on Tansen Road for a long time. We don’t do much advertising; people usually find us because they live nearby or their neighbor bought a bed from us. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us, our tools, and the wood we are working on. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought it would, but we try to get it done as best as we can.
