Manoj Agro Traders

We operate out of Chhutmal Ki Bajariya in the Lohiya Bazar area of Lashkar. It’s a historic part of town and the market here is always loud and full of life. Our shop is tucked away among many others, and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with these streets. We deal mostly with agricultural goods, so there’s always a lot of weighing and bagging going on throughout the day. The floors are often covered in a thin layer of dust from the grains. We have a couple of old scales that have been with us for decades and still work fine. People from all over the district come here to trade. It’s a place where a lot of handshakes happen and deals are made in person. The walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it doesn't really bother us. We care more about the quality of the stock than how the shop looks. Lashkar is a hot place in the summer, and the breeze through the doorway is sometimes the only thing that keeps us going. We know the other traders in Lohiya Bazar quite well; we’ve grown up together in this market. There’s no big corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure the orders are right. Most of the day is spent on our feet. By evening, we’re tired but satisfied with the day's work and ready to go home.
