Grasim Indutries Ltd. (Birla White ) Jodhpur (Rajasthan)

Our office is based in Gwalior, even though the company name says Jodhpur. We are located on Urwai Gate Road at a place called Kante Shab Ka Bag. It is an interesting spot because there is a bit of greenery around, but the road itself can get quite dusty. The building is just a standard one, nothing that stands out too much from the street. We handle the Birla White side of the business from here. Inside, you will see a lot of desks covered in paperwork and a few computers that have seen better days. Gwalior weather is a bit extreme, so it is either very cold or very hot, and we just dress accordingly. Most of us come to work on our scooters. We start early in the morning and stay until the work is finished. There is a small area in the back where we keep the kettle for making tea. We drink a lot of tea during the day to stay focused. It is not a quiet office because people are always coming in and out, but we like the energy. We don’t use any big words or have fancy meetings. We just look at the orders and make sure the logistics are sorted out. It is a very honest, local way of working. We have been in this location for a long time and the locals know us well. We just keep our heads down and work.
