Gours Institute

Gours Institute is located in Gwalior, specifically at F-12 City Bazar. This is right at the Thatipur Chouraha, which is a very busy junction. If you are looking for us, look for the Vivekanand Statue; we are right near there. Being in Thatipur means we are right in the thick of things. The City Bazar building is always full of people going to the different shops and offices. Our space, F-12, is on the ground floor, so people are always walking past our windows. It is a bit noisy with the traffic from the Chouraha, but we have some heavy curtains that help a little. We have a few rows of benches and a table at the front for the teacher. There is a small area where we keep our bags and a kettle for making coffee in the evenings. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that spin all day long. The walls are covered with some old maps and schedules we printed out years ago. We are a small team and we do everything ourselves, from sweeping the floor to helping the students with their doubts. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth place. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished brochures. We just open our doors every day and help the local students who come from all over Gwalior to study near the statue. It’s just our way of working.
