Environmental Engg. Co. is located on the fifth floor of Silver Estate, specifically at 507. It is a typical office building where you hear the hum of the elevators and the muffled sounds of other businesses nearby. We spend our days surrounded by files, drawings, and a lot of technical paperwork. Silver Estate is a busy spot, and our office at 507 is where we do all the thinking and planning. It is not a glamorous place; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the chairs have seen better days. But it works for us. We sit around the big table and go over project details, often with several cups of coffee nearby. The view from the window is mostly just more buildings, but it lets in enough light to keep us going. We are a small group and we have been at this for a while, so we don't need a lot of formal meetings. We just talk across the desks when something comes up. It is a straightforward environment where the focus is on the engineering side of things. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with plants. You just knock and come in. We try to stay organized, but with all the site reports and equipment specs, things can get a bit cluttered. It is just where we work and try to solve the problems that come our way every single morning.
