Ankit Forgings is at 34 Azeez Sait Industrial Town. It’s out by the 6th mile on Mysore Road. If you know the Nayandahalli area, you know it gets quite dusty and loud with all the factories. We have been in this spot for a good amount of time now. The workshop floor is usually covered in bits of metal and the machines make a lot of noise from early morning until we close up. It’s not a clean office job. We wear heavy boots and deal with heat every day because that’s what forging is. Our address is easy to find if you’re looking for the industrial zone. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We don’t spend much time on fancy websites or brochures. Usually, people just call us or drop by the gate to talk about what they need made. The traffic on Mysore Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get our loading done early. It’s a straightforward business. We take the raw materials, heat them up, and hammer them into shape. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes all afternoon. There’s always a bit of grease on everything, including our hands. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually finish up when the sun starts to set.
