Vikash Agencies is over on S.R.C.B. Road in the Fancy Bazar area. If you’ve ever been to Bg Market, you know how hectic it can get with all the people and the traffic moving through the narrow spots. We have been working out of this location for a good while now. Our day starts early, usually with us rolling up the shutters and seeing what arrived overnight. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stuff around and checking it against our lists. We don't have a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can get the job done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Being in Fancy Bazar means there is always noise outside, mostly rickshaw horns and people shouting. We are just a small team of regular people trying to run a straightforward agency. We don't spend money on big ads or trying to look more important than we are. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years. We just handle the distribution and make sure things get delivered to the right places. It is a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when it is hot or raining hard, but that is the life of a business in this market. We just show up and do our bit for the day before heading home.
