Sonek Arts Studio

We are located at Shop No. 269 inside the NPR Complex. It’s right on Zoo Road, very close to the AVM Station at Zoo Tiniali. It is a nice enough spot with plenty of people walking by throughout the day, whether they are going to the zoo or catching a train. We run Sonek Arts Studio here. It is where we spend our time painting, drawing, and doing whatever creative work happens to come our way. The shop is on the smaller side, but we have managed to fit all our paints, canvases, and supplies inside over the years. You will see brushes and half-finished projects scattered around most of the time we are open. We do not really keep the place perfectly tidy because we are almost always in the middle of something. It is a local place through and through. We know the other shop owners in the complex pretty well by now. It gets a bit more crowded during the weekends when the zoo has more visitors from out of town. We just enjoy the process of making things with our hands. We do not have a huge staff, just a couple of us who genuinely like art. Sometimes we take on bigger jobs like signs or hand-painted posters if someone in the neighborhood asks us. Most days we are just sitting here working quietly on whatever is on the easel. It is a simple life and it suits us.
