Up on the 2nd floor of the Institute of Engineers Building, you will find Sm Computer Consultants Pvt. Ltd. We are right in the middle of Panbazar, which is always packed with people and vendors. The building itself is older, so the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you aren't used to them. We spend our days surrounded by old monitors, tangled wires, and towers that need fixing. It’s a small office and we have computers squeezed onto every available surface. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a few clients in at the same time. Panbazar is a noisy place, so we usually hear the sounds of the market and the traffic coming through the windows. We deal with all sorts of technical issues, from software that won't load to hardware that has given up the ghost. It isn't a flashy tech office like you see in the movies. It’s more like a workshop where we are constantly tinkering with things to make them work again. We take turns going out to grab snacks from the local stalls when we need a break from the screens. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated explanations. We just try to get the machines running so people can get back to their own work without too much trouble or delay.
