Rajesh Goenka & Associates. We are based on the first floor of the Lahkar Commercial Complex, specifically in unit 3 C. The building sits on A T Road, which is one of those streets in Guwahati that never seems to go quiet. If you look out the window, you can see the Police Reserve right across from us. Being on the first floor is actually quite handy because you don't have to wait for the elevator if you're in a hurry. The office is a straightforward setup. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and the usual chairs for when people stop by. It’s not a big corporate showroom or anything like that. It’s just where we do our business. The morning usually starts with the sound of tea being made and the shuffling of papers. A T Road can get really jammed up with cars and rickshaws, so we usually hear a lot of honking throughout the day. It’s just the way things are in this part of the city. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the other people in the building. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even if everyone is busy with their own things. The walls are a plain color and we have some calendars hanging up to keep track of the dates. It’s a honest place to work and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. We just stay focused on our day.
