North Eastern Handicrafts & Handloom Dev. Corpn. Ltd

We are located in the East Point Tower, taking up the 4Th & 5Th Floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. Our work is all about the handicrafts and handloom items from the North Eastern region. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different weavers and artisans. The floors are filled with various samples, fabrics, and traditional items that have been sent to us. It can get a little messy with all the textiles piled up, but we know where everything is. The office isn't particularly modern; it has that older government building feel to it with heavy wooden desks and lots of filing cabinets. We have a lot of staff who have been here for decades, and they know the history of every item we have. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we are preparing for a big exhibition or a shipment. We look out over the city from the fifth floor, which is a nice view when you need a break from looking at spreadsheets. We don't do much in the way of fancy promotion; we just focus on the logistics of getting these traditional goods to where they need to go. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls to remote areas, but it’s what we do every day. The tea here is always hot, and someone usually brings in snacks to share in the afternoon while we talk.
