Micro Computer

Micro Computer is located in the Silpukhuri area of Guwahati. We are specifically inside Kalpana Market, which is on G N B Road near the Guwahati Club. If you know that part of town, you know how packed the roads get with cars and rickshaws. The market itself is a maze of small shops, and we are tucked in there among all the others. Our space is filled with motherboards, monitors, and boxes of components. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but that’s just how it is in a busy market like Kalpana. We spend our days under the fluorescent lights, mostly peering into the insides of various machines. The air is often thick with the smell of solder and old electronics. We get people coming in from all over Silpukhuri and even further out because they know where we are. G N B Road is always loud, but once you step into the market and find our shop, it feels a bit more contained. We have our regulars who come in just to see what new parts we’ve got or to complain about their slow internet. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a practical workshop where we spend our time fixing what people bring us. We’ve been part of this market community for a long time, and we wouldn't really want to be anywhere else in Guwahati. It is our little corner of the city.
