Little Bells Play School

Started the school here in Sonapur a few years back. It’s right in the Kamrup area. Most days start pretty early when the first few kids show up at the gate. You can hear them from down the street usually. We have a few rooms set up with mats and some old toys we've collected over time. The walls are painted, though some spots are peeling a bit near the bottom where the kids kick their shoes off. Sonapur gets quite dusty in the dry season so we spend a lot of time sweeping out the front porch. Parents usually stop by on their way to work or the market to drop off their little ones. It’s not a huge place, just a simple setup where the kids can run around without getting into too much trouble. We have a small yard in the back too. Sometimes cows wander near the fence, and the children get a kick out of watching them graze. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized and making sure everyone has a snack at the right time. The afternoon heat can get a bit much, so we keep the fans going pretty high. By the time parents come back in the evening, the place is a bit of a mess with blocks everywhere, but that's just how it goes. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It feels like everyone knows each other’s business anyway.
