Jitendra Rice Mill

You will find Jitendra Rice Mill right on the Village Dadara Main Road. Since we are on the main road, it is quite easy for the local farmers to pull their tractors and trailers right up to the entrance. The mill has been part of the village landscape for a long time. It is a basic setup, with the milling machines in the center and plenty of room for stacking bags of paddy and finished rice. The work here follows the seasons. When it is harvest time, we are busy from dawn until way past dark. There is always the sound of engines running and the smell of raw grain in the air. Our workers are local men who know the machines inside out and can fix them with a bit of wire and some tools when they act up. We do not have a fancy office; we usually just sit on some stools near the door to talk to the customers. It is dusty work, and by the end of the day, everyone is covered in a fine layer of white powder. But there is a sense of satisfaction in seeing the piles of rice ready to go out. We do not do much in the way of promotion. People know the mill is here and they know we do the job as it comes. It is just a hardworking place in the heart of Dadara and we like to keep it that way.
