N. R. Foods

We are located right opposite the Rhino Club on Ashram Road, which is a pretty well-known spot in Ulubari. Being in the food business means we have to be up and running quite early to handle all the stock that comes in. N. R. Foods is basically a small operation we started to help distribute products around this part of town. The office isn't much to speak of, just a couple of rooms where we keep the paperwork and a larger area for the storage. Ashram Road is always packed with people and cars, so it’s never quiet here. You can hear the horns honking all day long from the front window. We spend a lot of our time checking the inventory and making sure everything is moving out on time. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for our delivery vans to get in and out, but that’s just how it is living in this city. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us family members and a couple of hired hands helping out with the lifting and the packing. It gets humid in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day. Most people find us because they see the sign when they're heading to the club or walking down to the main market. We like being in this neighborhood because everything is close by.
