Jai Guru Rice & Soya Industries Private Limited

We are located at Plot No. 26-B in Madhobarinai Basti. It’s not too far from the Complex Race Course Circle, which is a landmark most people around here know. Jai Guru Rice & Soya Industries is where we spend our time processing rice and soya beans. It’s heavy work and the machines are quite old but they still do the job if you treat them right. We have a small yard where the trucks pull in to unload the raw grain. It can get pretty muddy when it rains, and we’ve spent many mornings shoveling dirt just to keep the path clear. Inside, it’s loud and there is a constant hum from the grinders. We don’t have a big HR department or fancy titles. Most of us just wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. Soya processing is a bit different from rice, so we have to switch things around depending on what we are doing that week. We don't have a big shiny sign out front, just the address and the name. We mostly deal with wholesalers who have been buying from us for years. They know we don't do anything special, we just process the stuff and bag it up. It's a living, and it keeps a lot of families in the basti going. We just try to keep the wheels turning.
