Gopal Singhania

Our place is in Sreemanta Market at 518, on the 5th floor. Being way up on the 5th floor means we get plenty of exercise if we don't use the lift. A.T. Road is always humming with activity down below. The market itself is a busy place with all sorts of shops and people coming and going. Gopal Singhania’s office is tucked away in one of the corners. It is not a very big space, but it has everything we need to get through the day. We have some metal cupboards for storage and a few desks pushed together. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a clock that is usually a few minutes fast. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It is just a spot for us to sit down and do the work. The air gets a bit stuffy sometimes, so we keep the door open to get a breeze from the hallway. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, which can be a bit distracting if you aren't used to it. We take our lunch breaks at different times, often just getting something small from one of the vendors downstairs. It’s a very simple setup, and it works for us. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now, and we know the other people on this floor quite well.
