Gate Institute

Our office is at 113 MRD Road, located in the Christianbasti area near Chandmari. It’s a well-known part of Guwahati, so most people don’t have much trouble finding us. The building is an older structure, and we are on one of the floors with a few rooms dedicated to our work. We have a lot of study materials and old exam papers stacked up on shelves and even on some of the desks. The place has a lived-in feel to it. It’s not particularly modern, but it serves its purpose for the students who come here to prepare for their exams. We have some basic chairs and tables, and the lighting is okay for reading. Most of our day involves talking to students, handing out notes, and trying to keep the place organized, though that’s a constant struggle with all the paper we use. There is a small balcony where we sometimes go to get a bit of fresh air, though the view is just the busy MRD Road. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the cars and honking below. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or high-end decor. It is just a straightforward spot where we focus on the Gate exams and help people get through their studies. We usually stay open quite late into the evening when things finally quiet down and we can catch up on all the admin work.
