Our company, Meghastar Agro - Hortitech Pvt. Ltd., is found at 40 Nayanpur Road. We are quite close to the Durga Mandir in the Ganeshguri area. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people moving about, which keeps things interesting. The office itself is a modest space where we coordinate our agro and horticulture projects. We have a lot of folders and binders full of technical details about plants and growing systems. It’s not a very polished environment; the chairs are a bit squeaky and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our time trying to figure out the best ways to integrate technology with traditional farming. It involves a lot of trial and error and some long hours sitting at the desk looking at charts. Sometimes we go out to visit the actual sites where the plants are growing, which is the best part of the job because we get out of the city for a bit. The staff here is small, just a few of us who really care about how things are grown. We don't have a big PR department or anything like that. We just talk to our clients directly and try to solve the problems they are facing with their crops. It's a practical business run by people who aren't afraid to work late when a deadline is approaching or a project needs finishing.
