Binod Pan Bhandar

Binod Pan Bhandar is located in Chandmari, Guwahati, right on G S Road. If you know Guwahati, you know G S Road is one of the busiest places to be at any time. There’s always something happening right outside the shop door. We have a small space here, but it's enough for what we do every day. The 781003 area is quite lively and can get very crowded in the evenings. We start our day early to get everything ready before the morning rush of people starts. Folks stop by on their way to work or while they are out running errands in the city. It’s a lot of short conversations and quick interactions throughout the day. The humidity in Assam can be tough, especially in the middle of the day, so we stay under the shade of our shop roof. We don’t have any fancy displays or expensive marketing. It’s just the name on the front and the items we sell. My family has been around this part of town for a long time, so we’ve seen the buildings go up and the roads change quite a bit. Being in Chandmari means we get a good mix of people coming in. Some are just passing through and others live just around the corner. We keep it simple and honest here. It’s not a big corporate business, just a small bhandar on a busy road. We just do our bit every day.
