W Pratiksha Hospital

Working on Golf Course Extension Road means seeing a lot of construction and new buildings every month. Our hospital is right there in Sector 56, which used to feel far away but now everything is built up. The lobby is usually the busiest part of the building. You see families sitting together and people rushing to the pharmacy. It’s a large building and sometimes even we get turned around in the back corridors. The glass windows let in a lot of light during the day which is nice for the staff working the long shifts. We see a lot of people from Sushant Lok 2 and the surrounding apartments. Usually, the mornings start with the shift change and everyone trading notes on what happened overnight. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different wings. The cafeteria is where most of us end up for a quick break. We don't have much time for long lunches. Outside, the road is always moving with cars heading toward Ghata. It’s a big facility with many departments, so there is always something going on, whether it's a delivery or someone coming into the emergency area. We try to keep things running smoothly but with so many people, it's always a bit of a scramble. The air conditioning is always on high because it gets so hot outside in the summer. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day. That's just how the hospital runs.
