Vinod Pan & General Store

My shop is over in Vakil Market, Phase IV, right at number 20. I’ve been running Vinod Pan & General Store for a while now. Most people around DLF City know the spot because they stop by for a quick smoke or a pan after work. We keep the usual things you’d expect, like snacks, cold drinks, and some basic household stuff. It’s a small place, so it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home. I spend most of my day sitting here, talking to the regulars who come by every single day. Some people just want a recharge for their phone or a bottle of water. It’s not a fancy supermarket or anything like that. Just a regular corner store where you can get what you need quickly. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and the boxes pile up, but we sort it out. The market stays pretty busy, and there’s always something going on outside. I try to keep the shelves stocked with the biscuits and chips that kids like. It’s nice seeing the same faces year after year. If you’re walking through Phase IV and need a quick snack or just a pack of gum, you’ll see us there. I’m usually behind the counter from morning until late at night. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and connected to everyone in the neighborhood. We don't have many employees, just a couple of us helping out.
