United Engineers India is located on Daulatabad Main Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near Vishnu Properties, which is a good landmark because the road can get a bit confusing. Our building is a solid, practical space where we handle various engineering tasks. It’s a busy road with lots of traffic passing by all the time. We’ve got machines that have been running for years, and they require a lot of looking after. The floor is usually covered in blueprints or part diagrams. We aren't big on decorations; the walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time and they know the equipment inside out. We get a lot of people stopping in to ask for advice on technical stuff. It’s a noisy place, especially when all the machines are going at once, but you get used to it. We take our lunch breaks together, usually sitting on the benches outside if the weather is nice. We aren’t trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a reliable one that people in the neighborhood can count on. The work is steady and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and make sure the engineering is solid before anything leaves the shop. It is a long day's work, but we are used to the rhythm.
