We run Today Carrier & Balaji Building Material Supplier from Plot No. 244 in Sector 10(A). We’re quite close to Minakshi School, so the area gets pretty busy when the kids are heading home. We deal with two things mostly—moving stuff and supplying what people need to build things. It keeps us on our toes. One minute we’re loading up a truck and the next we’re helping someone figure out how many bricks they need. The yard is usually full of sand, cement bags, and other bits and pieces. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying all day long. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the materials. Sometimes the trucks get delayed in traffic, which can be frustrating, but that’s life on the road. We’ve been in this sector for a while and seen a lot of houses go up around us. We aren't interested in being some massive company. We just want to get the supplies out to the folks who need them. The office is pretty small and usually has a thin layer of dust from the cement, but it works for us. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the gate.
