We are located at No. 28 in the Purana Hatri Bazar. This is part of the Old Sadar Bazar area, so it’s always crowded and full of life. It’s an old building, nothing like the new malls you see these days. We’ve been trading here for a long time. The walls have some cracks and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking over it. We deal with various goods depending on what people are looking for. It’s a traditional kind of business. We know the other shopkeepers around here by name. We drink tea from the stall nearby every afternoon. The market gets very loud, especially on weekends. You have to navigate through narrow lanes to reach us. It’s not the easiest place to park a car, that's for sure. We mostly deal with local folks who have been coming to this bazar for generations. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just old fans that creak and move the air around slowly. We keep our ledgers and do our work the way it's always been done. It's honest work in a part of town that has a lot of history. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just light a few candles and keep going until it's time to close the shop. That’s just life in the Old Sadar Bazar. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters and see who comes in to browse.
