Star Life Spices

At Star Life Spices, we are out on Plot No. 184, right across from the big TCS building. Being near NH-8 and Sector-36 means there is always a lot of traffic and big trucks moving past. It is a different vibe than being in the middle of a crowded city market. We have a bit more space here to move things around. We deal with spices in bulk mostly, so the warehouse part of our building is usually full of stacked boxes. You can see the highway from our front gate. The sun hits the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we spend a lot of time in the shaded parts of the unit. We aren't a corporate office, just a group of people working with spice shipments. Most of the day is spent checking the bags that come in and making sure they get loaded onto the right trucks. It gets quite dusty with the wind coming off the road and the spice particles in the air. We keep a small office area for the bills and the computer work, but most of the action happens on the floor. It is a practical setup. We see the tech workers from across the street going to lunch while we are busy sorting bags. It’s a weird contrast, but it’s our daily routine. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The highway noise never really stops, even when we are inside with the doors shut tight.
