We are based in Shivalaya Apartment, specifically in unit A303 over in Sector 56. It’s an apartment building that doubles as our work space for Snjt Xqtiv Consulting Private Limited. Working out of an apartment has its ups and downs. It feels a bit more like home than a cold office building. Our desks are set up in what used to be a living area. Having the kitchen right there makes brewing tea or coffee easy enough. Sector 56 is a pretty active part of Gurgaon. There’s always something going on outside. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow some mornings, so being patient is a must. We handle our consulting work from here, mostly through emails and calls. Since we are a small team, everyone knows each other well. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, which adds some background noise to our calls. No big sign is posted outside and we don't have anything fancy. It’s just a place where we sit down and get through the tasks for the day. The view from the balcony isn't much, just other buildings and some trees. Being here for a bit has shown us that it suits our needs. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a functional space. We try to keep things organized despite the limited room. It’s a humble setup for a consulting business in this part of town. Sometimes we forget to turn the ringer off on the landline.
