Sidhartha Tools is situated out in Manesar, specifically in Sector-3 at Plot No. 143. If you know the I.M.T. area, you know it is mostly industrial buildings and trucks moving in and out all day long. Our place is right in the middle of all that. It’s a practical building, built for work, not for looking pretty. Inside, there is the smell of metal and oil, which you get used to after about ten minutes. We have the machines set up and the tools laid out where they need to be. Some of the guys have been here for years and they know exactly where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We don’t really do big meetings or have those corporate slogans on the walls. We just come in, look at what needs to be made or fixed for the day, and get to it. The tea breaks are probably the best part of the afternoon when we all just sit around for ten minutes. The fans are always going because it gets pretty hot in this part of Haryana during the summer. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don't make any mistakes. It is hard work, but it is honest, and we are just a group of people trying to earn a living in the industrial belt.
